Action of each Ingredient
Colocynthis:
Cutting pain in abdomen causing patient to bend over double and press on the abdomen. Sensation as if stone is being ground together in the abdomen and would burst, colic with cramps in calves.
Magnesia Phos. :
Cramping of muscles with radiating pain, flatulent colic, forcing patient to bend double, accompanied with belching of gas, bloated, full sensation in abdomen, constipation.
Belladonna:
Sudden onset of intense, cutting, clutching pain .The upper abdomen may look tense and swollen, and jarring or light touch makes discomfort worse. The person may either seem excitable with dilated eyes, or woozy with discomfort.
Nux Vomica:
The abdomen feels tight, and constricting pains press upward, making breathing difficult. Warm applications and warm drinks may bring relief. Infants who need this remedy often
arch their backs, and seem impatient and angry.
Chamomilla:
This remedy is indicated when a person is hypersensitive to pain. The abdomen may be distended with gas, and pain can be focused in the navel region. Hot perspiration and facial flushing (sometimes only one cheek).
Cinchona Officinalis:
Flatulent colic, worse after eating, with sensation as is entire abdomen was full oacked, violent pains about navel not relieved by bending double.
Dosage:
15 – 20 drops three times a day with water or as prescribed by the physician.
