Action of each Ingredient
Anacardium:
Weak digestion, with fullness and distention. Empty feeling in stomach. Eructation, nausea, vomiting. Swallows food and drinks hastily.
Argentum Nitricum:
Painful spot over stomach that radiates to the abdomen. Ineffectual effort at
eructation. Great craving for sweets. Trembling and throbbing in stomach. Desire for cheese and salt.
Arsenic Album:
Cannot bear the sight or smell of food. Great thirst; drinks much, but little at a time. Nausea, retching, vomiting, after eating or drinking. Craves acids and coffee. Heartburn; Long-lasting eructations. Vomiting of blood, bile, green mucus, or brown-black mixed with blood. Stomach extremely irritable; Dyspepsia from vinegar, acids, ice-cream, ice-water, tobacco. Everything swallowed seems to lodge in the esophagus, Craves milk.
Atropinum:
Weakness of digestion. After eating pressure in stomach with bitter taste in mouth.
Carbo Veg.:
Eructations after eating and drinking. Nausea in the morning. Burning in the stomach, extending to the back and along the spine. Contractive pain extending to chest, with distention of abdomen. Distress comes on a half-hour after eating. Sensitivity of epigastric region. Aversion to milk, meat, and fat things.
Chamomilla:
Eructations, foul. Nausea after coffee. Sweats after eating or drinking. Aversion to warm drinks. Tongue yellow; taste bitter. Bilious vomiting.
Chelidonium Majus:
Tongue yellow, with imprint of teeth; large and flabby. Taste bitter, pasty. Bad odor from mouth. Prefers hot food and drink. Nausea, vomiting; better, very hot water. Pain through stomach to back and rightEating relieves temporarily.
Lycopodium:
Excessive hunger. Aversion to bread, etc. Desire for sweet things. Food tastes sour. Sour eructations. Great weakness of digestion. After eating, pressure in stomach, with bitter taste in mouth. Eating ever so little creates fullness. Wakes at night feeling hungry. Hiccough. Likes to take food and drink hot.
Scrophularia Nodosa:
Pain in liver on pressure. Colic below navel. Pain in sigmoid flexure and rectum.
Dosage:
15 – 20 drops three times a day with water or as prescribed by the physician.
Side effect: No known side effect or contra indication.
